Phil Hellmuth, Jr. & Robert Williamson III will host the 2nd Annual Kentucky Derby Poker Championship: All-in for Climate Change on April 30th 2009 at Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana. This year, experience what it’s like to play poker against celebrities and poker pros in Phil, Robert & Friends All-star Cash Game. Hellmuth, Willamson and other celebrities, including Mekhi Phifer, Layne Flack and Beth Shak that are slated to sit at the tables to benefit the international Red Cross/Red Crescent Climate Centre, Health & Climate Foundation and The Robby Albarado Foundation.

The $550 buy-in tournament will begin at Noon on April 30th where Hellmuth and Williamson will emcee the final table. You can register for the tournament beginning April 1st by calling the Horseshoe Poker Room at 1-800-660-9744 Monday – Friday 11am – 7pm (EST). Major Credit Cards accepted.

Horseshoe Casino will also host daily satellites and super satellites to win seats into the event as well as the following scheduled events:

The Kentucky Derby Poker Championship will have a $550 buy-in and begin at Noon on April 30. Players will get $5,000 in starting chips with a 30-minute blind structure. In addition to the prize money, the winner will receive 2 tickets to the 2009 Kentucky Derby and a free $1,000 buy-in at the Premium table for the All-star Cash-game taking place at Horseshoe Casino on April 30th at 10:00 PM. A percentage of prize pool for the main event will go to the designated charities

The Phil, Robert & Friends All-star Cash Game will begin at 10:00 PM. There will be a variety of buy-ins to play and each table will have at least one pro and/or celebrity. A nominal donation to the designated charities is required to play in the All-star cash game.
